Book Now

You are invited to a beautiful kitchen on the Asian banks of the Bosphorus with an outstanding view, to meet Claudia and cook a 4-course lunch together. A rich and fabulous Turkish style menu will be prepared according to the season and the requests of clients. After a challenging few hours in the kitchen, it’s time to enjoy the fruits of our hard work on a beautiful terrace overlooking the Bosphorus, along with a nice glass of Turkish wine.

me drinking cay in OdemisHi! My name is Claudia, a longtime resident of Istanbul with a lot to say about my life here! This includes what I do, cook and subsequently eat. Istanbul is great in many ways: it may have way too much traffic, the city is overcrowded and the amount of construction defies belief but yet I can't deny that life is fun on many levels.

You may wonder how long I have lived here and the answer is an amazing 30+ years. It has opened up so many doors above all with wonderful friendships across so many borders. It has forced me to get to grips with social media. I am still learning, that's for sure! And it has developed in me a deep interest in what Turkey is producing and what the markets have to offer. My cooking has improved enormously and I have learned so much about this rich cuisine that is based on the marvelous fresh produce that is available here.

Turkey is a wonderful country with a lot to offer both culinary as well as  historical and archaeological. I hope you enjoy my tours! All I can say at this point is:

Afiyet olsun!

Testimonials

  • A huge thank you to Ozgen and Burcu!! The whole package of bellydance and sightseeing in Istanbul was fantastic. I can't believe how much we packed in to one week, no time wasted, very well organised, and flexible according to people's needs or the weather (or another shopping trip to the Grand Bazaar)! It was an amazing experience that touched my heart, and I'm so happy to have made new friends, it was a pleasure to share the week with you, we will stay in touch. Love, - Rachel Hislop

  • Our last day in Turkey!  The trip has been fabulous. Thank you for everything you did to help make it wonderful! Take good care. Amy & Erika

    • Hi Burcu and Baris, As promised, I'm writing to let you know that our Ephesus tour went extremely well last week. The tour guide, Danis, was informative, friendly and flexible to changes in weather and the desires of our group. The driver, Victor, of course, got us everywhere we needed to be safely. Even though the weather was unexpectedly rainy, we still managed to have a great time and covered almost everything that was promised to us on the itinerary. I definitely think we all got an extremely fun and informative look at Ephesus and the surroundings of Izmir. We got to see historical artifacts, how people lived in a local village (which I think was our favorite part of the tour), and even got to walk a little bit around Izmir. I will definitely be recommending Unison Travel to any of my friends who plan to visit Istanbul and are looking for a fun way to see some parts of the country they may not otherwise be able to see. You all have a fantastic service, and my group and I definitely appreciate everything you did to make sure our day trip was a success. Many thanks and all the best, Zak
