Cappadocia, ancient district in east-central Anatolia, situated on the rugged plateau north of the Taurus Mountains, in the centre of present-day Turkey
As the word culture can refer to many aspects of a country and its people; our cultural tours cover a variety of inclusions like sightseeing, daily life, shopping, traditions, etc..
In this Cappadocia tour, our first stop is Kaymakli Underground City, one of the most interesting underground settlements in Cappadocia, where early Christians hid from prosecutors. We will continue our tour with Cavusin, and Zelve Open Air Museum. Finally we visit, an old Greek town Mustafapasa (Sinasos) with fine examples of late Greek settlements and architecture.

What can I say to someone who has just given us the most wonderful trip of our lives. Over the past 40 years we have been extremely lucky and travelled to most countries in the world through many travel agents and organisers but never before have we been looked after to the level that you showed us. You not only exceeded our expectations but you set a new standard for future travel, that I doubt anyone will even come close to. The tailored itinerary you, Frances and Gursan set for us, was perfect and fitted all our personal interests. The hotels you selected where all wonderful and always in the right position. The guides and drivers where sensational, especially Arzu and always turned up early for pickups. I was delighted when Marlie (not sure the spelling is correct) picked us up for our final trip to the airport. He was so good to us during our trip around and seeing him again was like greeting an old and very special friend and when we said good-by he gave me a gift that I will treasure always.During the flight home Elaine and I tried to decide on a highlight of our four weeks in your country and found it impossible to pick any one day or event. Every day was so diverse, the time we spent in the Taurus mountains with Gursan, the balloon flight in Cappadocia, having lunch with Frances and her friend in Heraklia, exploring Princes' Island with Gursan, sailing into a secluded bay in the Gulf of Gokoba, having dinner with you and Gursan on our final night where all mentioned and all wonderful experiences but for me the six days we spent laughing our way around a small part of Turkey with Frances and seeing her world was very special. She is wonderful and we had so much fun together that I think our time with Frances was my highlight. The personal attention you showed us was exceptional, checking up on our wellbeing every day and going above and beyond, such as arranging the wine for our sailing trip was wonderful. Thanks to you we saw a side of Turkey that most tourists don't see and it was wonderful. To say we loved your country and it's people is an understatement and we will be recommending a trip to Turkey and you to everyone we speak to for a long, long time. I hope you come to Australia one day and let us show you our world, we would just love to see you. In closing a big, big thank you. You are a very special, beautiful person, may success and happiness follow you for ever.LoveTony and Elaine xx
The tour leaders and our guide on this trip knew where to go and what to do to make this Turkish adventure a true gem. Their insights and knowledge enriched our trip immensely. We give this trip our highest recommendation.Jackie and Matt-------------We could not have been more pleased with our Gems of Turkey trip in 2013. The trip was very well organized and offered a rich variety of experiences. We were exposed to amazing food, ancient historical sights, beautiful coastal towns, super friendly people, bustling cities, quaint villages and comfortable accommodations. The size of the group was perfect and made for really getting to know our fellow travelers. The guide, our driver and John and Julie made this an extremely interesting adventure. We would highly recommend this trip.

The transportation was great....from the bus (amazing driver) to the walking tours, boat tours and walking tours. Our last night in Istanbul using public transportation was a good experience. Julie, John and Rustem were all wonderful guides. And, it was great to meet and eat with Burcu too!
Excellent Tour and we loved Turkey. What a beautiful country and so many amazing places to see. The food in Turkey was fantastic and the people were friendly and easy to talk to. Lots of laughter! We want to go back soon.
I really enjoyed visiting Turkey and came home with a nice sense of the the country, its history and its people. Thank you for being so welcoming to us all.
------------"We had an incredible tour of Western and Central Turkey and visited amazing archaeological sites from Neolithic to Roman. Our small group tour was able to visit sites during times when the tour buses were gone, and we often had the place to ourselves, just wandering through beautiful ancient places. Our very knowledgeable Turkish guide enriched our experience of these diverse early cultures. Julie and John were so much fun to travel with, and gave us their unique perspectives and experience of Turkey. It is an incredible country for anyone interested in archaeology, and the food and the people are wonderful too! We highly recommend this tour."Ron and Glo Auler, Flagstaff, AZ
