    Hi Burcu,
At last I have a few minutes to write and tell you how very much we enjoyed our holiday in Turkey. We saw so many wonderful places, your country is so beautiful, and the people we met were all charming and welcoming. Most of all I loved the wildflowers which were everywhere, even unexpectedly at Gallipoli, Pergamum  and Ephesus! Turkey has so many layers to its history - we just loved every moment. Thank you so very much for all your care, and your professionalism.

    Hi gorgeous.
What can I say to someone who has just given us the most wonderful trip of our lives. Over the past 40 years we have been extremely lucky and travelled to most countries in the world through many travel agents and organisers but never before have we been looked after to the level that you showed us. You not only exceeded our expectations but you set a new standard for future travel, that I doubt anyone will even come close to. The tailored itinerary you, Frances and Gursan set for us, was perfect and fitted all our personal interests. The hotels you selected where all wonderful and always in the right position. The guides and drivers where sensational, especially Arzu and always turned up early for pickups. I was delighted when Marlie (not sure the spelling is correct) picked us up for our final trip to the airport. He was so good to us during our trip around and seeing him again was like greeting an old and very special friend and when we said good-by he gave me a gift that I will treasure always.
During the flight home Elaine and I tried to decide on a highlight of our four weeks in your country and found it impossible to pick any one day or event. Every day was so diverse, the time we spent in the Taurus mountains with Gursan, the balloon flight in Cappadocia, having lunch with Frances and her friend in Heraklia, exploring Princes' Island with Gursan, sailing into a secluded bay in the Gulf of Gokoba, having dinner with you and Gursan on our final night where all mentioned and all wonderful experiences but for me the six days we spent laughing our way around a small part of Turkey with Frances and seeing her world was very special. She is wonderful and we had so much fun together that I think our time with Frances was my highlight.
The personal attention you showed us was exceptional, checking up on our wellbeing every day and going above and beyond, such as arranging the wine for our sailing trip was wonderful. Thanks to you we saw a side of Turkey that most tourists don't see and it was wonderful. To say we loved your country and it's people is an understatement and we will be recommending a trip to Turkey and you to everyone we speak to for a long, long time. I hope you come to Australia one day and let us show you our world, we would just love to see you. In closing a big, big thank you. You are a very special, beautiful person, may success and happiness follow you for ever.
    Love
    Tony and Elaine  xx

  • When we mentioned to longtime friends we were visiting Istanbul they told us our enjoyment would be increased substantially if we hired Trici as our guide. They told us the truth. When we contacted Trici she told us that she emphasized the art of Istanbul and we said we approved. She also told us the truth. What neither friends nor Trici told us was that she is a worldclass artist who devotes her art to capturing the obvious and the offbeat sides of that mysterious city. And that’s the truth.

I have never been to Istanbul, but I do have extremely vivid, colorful and imaginative images of Istanbul in my mind through the stunning art that Ms. Venola has drawn and the imaginative prose she has written during the years that she has lived there. She is a wonderful ambassador for your city.I can only say that I wish I -could- have the opportunity to have her lead me on a tour of Istanbul: I know it would be magical, thrilling, awe-inspiring. Truly a never-to-be-forgotten experience!

I can think of no better tour guide when visiting Istanbul than Trici Venola. Her passion for the city is only exceeded by her knowledge of it's history. The fact that she is an artist and an avid urban sketcher makes her insights that much more astute.

Her warmth, compassion and humor make her a wonderful guide and  teacher. Trici knows Istanbul -- its nooks and crannies as well as its majestic sites-- better than most natives, much better!! I recommend her highly.

From "commando santas" rappelling down buildings around the city, to colorful mannikins, to workshops and alleys and a million cats, Trici Venola has an insiders awareness of a wonderful assortment of "off the tourist trail" discoveries to share.

Spending a day with Trici is like your best Indiana Jones fantasy come true! You duck behind a coke machine in a hole in the wall food store and there you have it, the OTHER cistern (that no one ever sees!) A guide will real passion and joy. The best knowledge I have found so far on Byzantium, Turkey and Istanbul. Not only that she is great fun!
