We are very excited and happy to be organizing the 9th Rakkas Istanbul Festival.
We have had a great Oriental experience in 2022, and it only gets better! We are proud to make new additions to our star teachers' lineup. Rakkas Istanbul team is inviting you to one of the most magical cities in the world, "Istanbul". Attend oriental dance workshops with many different styles from Egyptian to Turkish, to Tribal to Turkish Gypsy Style. Enjoy gala shows, open stage, competitions, costume bazaar, and many more activities in a family atmosphere.
Rakkas Istanbul invites you to immerse in the world of belly dancing. This is a chance to learn from famous teachers, meet fellow belly & oriental dancers from all around the world, polish your skills and experience the culture where belly dancing was born. GALA SHOW
Opening Gala Show with International Stars. How about watching your teachers and our guest dancers on stage? Enjoy two nights of shows with International Stars along with a full course dinner.
WORKSHOPS
2 days - more than 35 hours.Unlimited attendance included in the festival package.Enjoy as many workshops as you like and many different colors of oriental dance.
COMPETITIONS
Rakkas Istanbul offers you "Bellydance Star" competition. Get ready to show your skills and talent in front of the professional juries as well as the audience.If you wish to participate in the competition, please do not forget to mark in your registration form. Competition fee can be paid during the festival to the information desk. Place is limited so advance registration is recommended.
IMPORTANT
To participate to the competition or perform in the festival you need to register to Full package or Festival Package or take minimum 5 workshops.
OPEN STAGE WORLD SHOW
It's time to dance for the other festival guests. Solo, duet, trio, group, raks sharqi, Turkish style, gypsy style, bollywood, tribal, fusion, .....all styles and performances are welcomed. If you wish to participate in the open stage, please do not forget to mark in your registration form. Participation is free of charge, but place is limited so advance registration is recommended.
