If you want to join in one of the most popular things to do along the Mediterranean Coastline then jump on board a week-long Turkish Gulet Cruise departing Fethiye. You spend 7 days and 6 nights taking in some amazing sights whilst getting to visit pristine bays for swimming and snorkelling.

You depart Fethiye bound for Butterfly Valley, here its time for your first swim in the Med or you can hike into the valley. Afterwards, you cruise past Europe’s most photographed beach, Oludeniz then anchor behind the Blue Lagoon. First night on board is at St Nicholas Island, where you can enjoy the sunset through the ruins. Day 2 you cruise to Kas, it’s the best spot for shopping or stocking up on snacks. Your next few days are spent in Kekova. There is plenty to see with the famous Sunken City of Kekova and Simena Castle. Day 4, in Demre Harbour you farewell some passengers that are on the shorter cruise and can go into Demre to visit the ruins of Myra. You then jump back on board and welcome new passengers to start the cruise back to Fethiye. This cruise, you see the same major attractions twice, which are always worth it, but get to see new things with different bays for swimming and sleeping in, on the way there and back. You can also undertake the optional activities of paragliding or diving.

You’re onboard a Turkish standard yacht. These gulets offer your own cabin (twin or double share) and solo travellers share with other solo travellers. All cabins have a private bathroom, so no need to worry about having to share. Onboard you will enjoy an array of yummy Turkish dishes. Tour Details

Day 1 Fethiye to St Nicholas Island

Guests will arrive at the Alaturka office on the Fethiye harbour at 09:00 am for check-in and information, if you require directions our staff can aid you. You will then be taken to your gulet for a briefing about your cruise. Once settled aboard you will depart Fethiye harbour and cruise to Butterfly Valley for swimming, lunch and an optional hike up to the waterfall. Butterfly Valley is known to be the home to over 136 different types of butterflies and moths, however, in the summer months, they can be difficult to spot.

Afterwards, you will visit the most photographed beach in the world - Oludeniz (Blue Lagoon).
Famous throughout Turkey for its still shallow waters, the lagoon with its crescent-shaped bay is surrounded by secluded beaches making Oludeniz the perfect place to relax.

Optional Activity: Paragliding Blue Lagoon
Here you have the optional excursion of going paragliding. You will take off from Babadag Mountain, 2000 metres and fly over Oludeniz beach and Blue Lagoon. This is one of the best spots in the world for paragliding and will offer you the most amazing and spectacular views! Please look into pre-booking this activity either online for special online rates; with our friendly office crew or last-minute let your captain know on departing Fethiye.

Tonight you will anchor down at St Nicholas Island, where you will have time to walk up through the island's ruins and sit and enjoy the sunset. (L, D)

 

 

Day 2 St Nicholas Island to Kas

Today you will wake up just outside of Kalkan in the beautiful Aquarium Bay for breakfast and a swim. You will then cruise onto Kas, which is a small fishing village with some of the best shopping in the area, especially unique handmade jewellery pieces. Here you will be given time to explore the local shops and clothes stores and some local cafes for great coffee.

Optional ActivityDiving
For those interested, you will be transferred out to the diving boat to go scuba diving in what is said to be the best place to dive in Southern Turkey. Get the chance to dive in the beautiful clear waters of the Southern Mediterranean with some sights offering a cave dive or even a wreck dive. Be sure to look at pre-booking this optional extra online before your cruise to receive an online discount.

The night is spent in one of the secluded bays between Kas and Kekova. (B, L, D)

Day 3 Kas to Gokkaya Bay

Today after breakfast you will cruise onto the Sunken City, an ancient town that dates back 2000 years to the Lycian period and was destroyed by an earthquake. You will cruise over this protected World Heritage site nice and slowly to enjoy the view, however no swimming, diving or snorkelling is allowed in this area as it is now a protected sight. Afterwards you will anchor down to visit Kekova and Simena Castle, where you can walk to the top and witness a magical view over the bay.  (B, L, D)

Day 4 Gokkaya Bay to Demre / Olympos

Your last day on the boat will be a nice and lazy start. Resting off any sore heads from partying the night before you wake up and have time for a morning swim. After breakfast, you will head back to Ucagiz Village Harbour to arrive before lunch at 10:30/11:00 am for disembarking the boat. It is time to farewell new found friends and your friendly crew. Lunch is not included on the last day.

Shuttle to Demre bus station Olympos:
We will meet you in Ucagiz Village by bus to transfer you onto either Olympos (2 hours drive) where you can find nice tree house hotels, or Demre bus station (10 minutes drive). Please note: if there is not enought people  travelling to Olympos, we will transfer you with a public bus instead of a shuttle bus.

Departing to Antalya, Kas, Fethiye or other detinations:
If you're planning on traveling onto other destinations, you can get dropped off at Demre bus station. Buses to Antalya and Kas depart every 30 minutes, buses onto Fethiye depart every hour and no need to pre-book these tickets.
